Ensemble Mutatis returns to the concert series of Lund Kammarmusiksällskap with a programme that brings together three distinctive voices of chamber music.
The concert opens with Heitor Villa-Lobos’ Quartet for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon, a work that blends Brazilian colours with European chamber music traditions. Antonín Dvořák’s String Quintet follows, offering lyrical warmth and rich melodic invention. The programme concludes with Jean Françaix’s brilliant Decet, a sparkling and virtuosic masterpiece renowned for its wit, elegance and rhythmic vitality.
