Program:
Movements from the clarinet quintets by Mozart, Brahms and Françaix, alongside folk music from Danish String Quartet’s Wood Works.
On Saturday, Ensemble Mutatis returns to the Frederiksdals Slot with Musses Skovtur, an interactive children’s opera that brings together classical music, theatre and storytelling in a playful experience for the whole family.
Join Musse the troll on a journey through the forest, where curious encounters with its animal inhabitants unfold through music and imagination. Inspired by themes from Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, the performance invites children to become part of the story while discovering classical music in an engaging and accessible way.
Created by opera singers Henning von Schulman and Francine Vis, both active at The Royal Danish Opera and Malmö Opera, Musses Skovtur features a chamber arrangement by Francine Vis for seven musicians, performed in collaboration with Ensemble Mutatis.
