We are delighted to join the Frederiksdal Chamber Folk Festival for the first time this year, becoming part of a festival that has, since 2020, brought together chamber music, folk traditions, artistic encounters and a vibrant community in the beautiful surroundings of Frederiksdal Manor.
The festival celebrates music without boundaries, where genres meet, audiences gather, and intimate concerts exist alongside spontaneous jams, conversations and shared experiences in nature. It is a place where curiosity, craftsmanship and community come together.
Our Friday afternoon concert in the Havesalen reflects this spirit. Ensemble Mutatis presents a programme that brings together highlights from some of the greatest clarinet quintets ever written with music inspired by folk traditions. Moving between lyrical chamber music and vibrant folk influences, the programme explores the many ways classical composers have drawn inspiration from traditional melodies, dances and musical storytelling.
We look forward to sharing this musical journey with you on Friday at 17:00 in Havesalen at Frederiksdal Slot.
